1. Introduction
This Privacy Notice explains how CARJOM TECHNOLOGIES SDN. BHD., operating the RegalScene product brand (“RegalScene”, “we”, “us”), handles personal data when individuals visit our websites, explore our public demonstrations, submit an enquiry, request an indicative estimate, book a demonstration, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with RegalScene.
RegalScene is an independent product brand operated by CARJOM TECHNOLOGIES SDN. BHD., a company incorporated in Malaysia. RegalScene is not incorporated as a separate legal entity.
We handle project, inventory, lead and usage data only as required to deliver, operate and support the platform, in accordance with applicable contractual and privacy obligations.
2. Who is responsible for your data
CARJOM TECHNOLOGIES SDN. BHD. is the operator of the RegalScene websites and is responsible for personal data collected through those websites and through commercial enquiries made to RegalScene.
Our role may differ where RegalScene provides its platform to a property developer, operator or business customer. In those cases we may handle certain information on behalf of that customer under a separate agreement, while acting on our own behalf for security, billing, legal compliance and our own operational records. 3. Scope of this notice
This notice covers the RegalScene marketing website (regalscene.com), the RegalScene public showcase (showcase.regalscene.com) and related public interactions such as our enquiry, estimate and partnership forms.
This notice does not cover: a developer client’s own website or independent privacy practices; third-party websites we link to; separate contractual processing arrangements documented in a customer agreement; or employee and recruitment data, which are handled separately.
4. Personal data we handle
We handle only the categories of personal data relevant to the interactions above:
Contact and business information — such as your name, work email address, company, role, and (if you choose to provide it) a phone or WhatsApp number.
Enquiry and project information — details you provide about your project type, scale, timeline, asset readiness, desired sales channels, languages, CRM, and the content of your message.
Communication records — correspondence and follow-up relating to your enquiry, estimate, demonstration or partnership request.
Technical and device information — such as IP address and standard request information collected automatically when you visit our websites, used for delivery, security and performance.
Website, campaign and showcase activity — information about how our websites and public demonstration are used, including a pseudonymous identifier used to understand demonstration engagement. See section 15 (Cookies and similar technologies).
Information voluntarily provided — anything else you choose to include in your communications with us.
We do not knowingly collect special or sensitive categories of personal data through these public interactions. Please do not include sensitive personal data in enquiry messages.
5. How we collect information
Directly from you — when you complete a form, send an email, or otherwise communicate with us.
Automatically — through standard web-server information and through cookies and similar technologies on our websites and public demonstration.
From service providers — for example our email-delivery and hosting providers processing information to operate our websites and communications.
From a developer client or business partner — where relevant to an enquiry or engagement.
6. Why we use your information
Responding to your enquiry and communicating with you about the RegalScene service you asked about.
Preparing indicative estimates and evaluating potential projects or partnerships.
Arranging and managing demonstrations and related follow-up.
Delivering, operating, supporting and securing our websites and the platform, and preventing abuse.
Analysing website and public-demonstration performance to improve the experience.
Maintaining our business records and complying with legal, accounting and tax requirements.
Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.
We do not currently operate a newsletter or automated marketing subscription through the website. We may follow up in relation to an enquiry, estimate, demonstration or partnership request. Any broader marketing subscription introduced later will use a separate optional choice. See section 14 (Direct marketing).
7. Basis for processing
We handle personal data in accordance with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and its subsidiary requirements, including where relevant your consent, the performance of steps requested by you prior to or during an engagement, our legitimate operational interests such as security and record-keeping, and compliance with legal obligations.
If you are located outside Malaysia, additional rights or legal bases may apply under your local law. This notice does not claim compliance with every international data-protection regime.
9. Developer-client environments
When RegalScene is deployed for a property developer or operator, that developer may determine why buyer information is collected through their experience, and the developer’s own privacy notice may apply.
In those cases we may handle the information to operate the platform under our agreement with the developer, and enquiries submitted through the experience may be delivered to that developer or its authorised sales representatives. Client-specific arrangements may be documented separately in the applicable customer agreement.
10. International processing and transfers
RegalScene is available to clients globally and uses reputable service providers that may process information outside Malaysia (for example, hosting, content delivery, email delivery and analytics providers). Where personal data is transferred outside Malaysia, we take steps intended to ensure it is protected consistent with applicable Malaysian requirements, including contractual protections with our providers.
We do not claim that all data remains in Malaysia, and we do not transfer data without appropriate safeguards.
11. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. Our initial retention approach is:
Inactive or unqualified enquiries — up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction.
Active opportunities — for the duration of the active relationship, then up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction.
Customer, contractual and billing records — for the contract period plus applicable legal, accounting, tax and claims periods.
Showcase buyer-journey analytics (where analytics is accepted) — up to 12 months.
Security and operational logs — the shortest practical period required for security and platform operation.
Analytics provider data — in accordance with that provider’s documented and configured retention periods.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law and identity verification, you may request access to and correction of your personal data, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, object to direct marketing, and manage cookies through your browser settings.

14. Direct marketing
RegalScene does not currently operate a newsletter or automated marketing subscription through the website. We may follow up in relation to an enquiry, estimate, demonstration or partnership request. Any broader marketing subscription introduced later will use a separate optional choice, and you will be able to opt out at any time.
16. Third-party links and services
Our websites and demonstrations may link to third-party websites and services that have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third parties.
17. Children
RegalScene’s business websites and services are not designed for or directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through them.
18. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The effective date and last-updated date are shown at the top of this page. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to communicate them.
